To provide a luxurious atmosphere for owners at and registered guests of The Homestead, most of our recreational facilities are operated as a semi-private club. All aspects of membership, including admission and discipline, are governed by bylaws which are administered by a committee comprised of some of the resort's officers and managers. The number of memberships that will be available for each type of membership is set by the committee each year and is well below the total number of owners.
A Loyalty Program has been created to recognize and reward those members who make use or have made use of the Company's real estate and rental management services and membership programs. The Loyalty Program offers varying degrees of priority for admissions, tiered reductions in Membership Deposits and Dues, and assurance to a Primary Member who has made a membership deposit and elects to sell his or her Property through the Company's real estate brokerage that his or her memberhips will be reserved and offered to the person who purchases the Primary Member's Property.
For those property owners who become members, membership benefits include access to all recreational facilities, advance booking rights and guest priveleges.
Annual dues, which range from$271 for twelfth ownership to $2,162 for whole ownership, allow members to use some facilities (e.g., pools) without usage charges. Other facilities (e.g., tennis, golf, and skiing) have a usage charge. As a courtesy, annual dues are pro-rated for property owners who utilize The Homestead's rental management program.
